We're looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Risk Delivery to join our Group Risk Leadership Team. Reporting to the Group GM Risk Management, this newly established leadership role will drive the successful delivery of SkyCity's enterprise risk initiatives, risk transformation programmes and emerging technology governance agenda. Based in Auckland, you'll play a key role in shaping how risk capability, systems, data and change delivery support the future of SkyCity

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As Head of Risk Delivery, you'll lead SkyCity's risk delivery capability, bringing together risk programme delivery, business analysis, change management, risk systems and data under a single function. You'll be accountable for the strategic direction, governance and successful delivery of enterprise-wide risk initiatives across Risk Management, Financial Crime and Host Responsibility

A key responsibility will be leading SkyCity's risk maturity uplift programme, ensuring delivery roadmaps align to organisational priorities, regulatory obligations and long-term risk objectives. You'll also provide leadership across significant strategic initiatives including AI governance and innovation, risk technology transformation and enterprise-wide risk systems improvements.

Leading a team of specialist risk delivery professionals, you'll partner closely with senior leaders across the business to ensure risk programmes are well governed, effectively delivered and support sound commercial and operational decision-making

Mōu | About You

We're looking for a proven leader who combines strategic thinking with strong programme delivery capability and the ability to influence at senior levels.

You'll ideally bring:

• Significant experience in risk management, programme delivery, transformation or a related discipline, including senior leadership experience.
• A track record of leading large-scale change, risk uplift or transformation programmes
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across delivery, data, systems, analysis or change functions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leaders and governance forums.
• Understanding of risk management frameworks, governance practices and regulatory environments
• Experience operating within complex and regulated industries, with gaming, financial services or similar environments highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, risk management, programme management or a related field. PMP, MSP, PRINCE2 or equivalent qualifications will be viewed favourably.
• A passion for developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
