- Supporting health screening, follow-up and care coordination.
- Delivering health education and promoting preventive healthcare.
- Working closely with general practice teams and community providers.
- Supporting equitable access to health services.
- Building trusted relationships with former refugees, families and community organisations.
- Contributing to service improvement and quality initiatives.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate.
- A minimum of three years post-registration nursing experience.
- Excellent assessment, communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to equity, cultural safety and person-centred care.
- Experience working across diverse communities and cultures.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- A current full New Zealand driver's licence.
- It would be advantageous if you also have:
- Experience working in primary care, community health or refugee health.
- Knowledge of New Zealand primary healthcare services.
- Experience using patient management systems such as Medtech or Indici.
- Vaccinator authorisation or willingness to obtain this.
Why join us?
