Location: Radius Taupaki Gables, 116 Taupaki Rd, RD 2, Taupaki

Hours of work: Casual, as and when required

Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for casual HCAs. Visa-holders must have a current visa with open work rights and preferably at least 6 months left until expiry.

Applicants must have own transport as there is no public transport in this area.

Pay rate: Subject to completed recognized caregiving qualifications

About the role:

Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.

Duties include:

• Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence

• Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner

• Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information

• Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records

• Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes

Skills and Experience:

• New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing and experience are desirable
