Lovely close-knit team of admin, nurses and doctors.

Opening hours weekdays 8:30am-5pm.

What this role could provide you

This role is the perfect entry role to give you direct experience in a GP Clinic, overseeing patients specifically for NZ healthcare (Maori/Pacific health matters)

Hours

Part-time fixed hourly basis during standard work hours Mon-Fri.

You can pick from Tues-Fri (8.5 hours a day)

Tasks and Duties

• Scheduling appointments and managing appointment books with nurses and doctors
• Checking patients in and out, updating patient information and collecting fees
• Assisting patients with completing forms and understanding procedures
• Addressing and handling patient concerns

Essential Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in computer skills (such as MS Office)
• Discretion and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Calm and empathetic demeanor to handle patient concerns.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience (but not necessary!)

• Familiarity with some Medical Terminology
• Knowledge of how to operate an EFTPOS/Card payment terminal
• First-Aid training or basic health practices

Job Type: Part-time
