High Volume Restaurant jobs

We are looking for hard working and capable Front of House players to join our Team. We are a multi-site operation and are passionate about providing a good Hospitality experience.

This is hospo, you must be available to work nights & weekends (a Friday or Saturday night) and public holidays. We pride ourselves on work/life balance and encourage out of work commitments and family time, so there is a degree of negotiation. Minimum 30 hours per week, Monday-Sunday roster with two consecutive days off.

Job requirements:

- Exceptional customer service - the 1841 way.
- Experience in Hospitality would be an advantage, but not a must.
- Have willingness to learn and enjoy your work.
- High integrity and honesty in all dealings.
- Good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations.
- Ability to learn while multitasking and working alongside fellow work mates.
- Ability to work under pressure in high volume, fast paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Adhere to the Sale & Supply of alcohol act 2012 and all food and hygiene regulations.
- Open work permit in New Zealand

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers warmly & serve customers promptly in a friendly manner. - Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in good working condition. - Clean tables and collect used plates and glassware from tables and put in correct area for washing. - Ensure there is always an adequate supply of cutlery and glassware. - General cleaning tasks. - Ensure customer areas are always tidy and are displayed in accordance with the establishment standards. - Ensure the premises is a safe environment for all patrons and staff and always complies with OSH requirements. - Comply with the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, Smokefree Environment Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2003. - Follow instruction from Manager/Duty Manager. - Any other duties the employer may reasonably require.
