Weekend Casual Holiday Park Assistant

Hamilton City Holiday Park – Hamilton

Hamilton City Holiday Park is looking for a reliable, energetic and customer-focused person to join our small team as a Weekend Casual Holiday Park Assistant.

This role will initially focus on housekeeping and preparing our accommodation to a high standard. As you become familiar with the park, there will be opportunities to develop into an all-round Holiday Park Assistant, learning reception, guest services, laundry, grounds maintenance and the day-to-day operation of the park.

No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is happy to help wherever needed.

What you'll be doing

Initially your role will include:

  • Cleaning and servicing cabins and facilities.
  • Preparing accommodation for arriving guests.
  • Assisting with laundry duties.
  • Helping maintain high presentation standards throughout the park.

As your training progresses, you will transition into a broader Holiday Park Assistant role, including:

  • Reception and guest check-ins/check-outs.
  • Reservation and booking systems.
  • Guest enquiries and customer service.
  • Grounds and general park maintenance.
  • General operational duties across the park.

  • Be physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Hours

This is a casual weekend position, with regular weekend work available.

Additional weekday shifts may become available as occupancy increases, covering housekeeping, reception, laundry and other operational duties.
