Café Front of House Staff / Café All-Rounder

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic Café Front of House Team Member to join our team.

This is a hands-on café role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, can work efficiently in a busy environment and is happy to help across different areas of the café.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Take customer orders at the counter and at tables.
• Serve food, coffee and other beverages.
• Operate the POS system and process customer payments accurately.
• Assist with making coffees and other drinks where required.
• Deliver meals and beverages to customers promptly.
• Clear, clean and reset tables.
• Keep the counter, dining area and other customer areas clean and well presented.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Restock front-of-house supplies, drinks and other items as required.
• Become familiar with the menu and confidently answer customer questions.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Check that customers are satisfied and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Support other team members during busy periods and help wherever required.

• Is available for rostered shifts, including weekends where required.

Previous café, hospitality or barista experience would be an advantage; however, training can be provided to the right person with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
