Junior IT Support Technician
Auckland | Full Time | Onsite

Ready to kick-start your IT career?

FMI Building Innovation is looking for a motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join our Auckland team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their IT career wanting hands-on experience across a growing NZ business.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies, systems, and infrastructure, while working alongside an experienced IT team in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing day-to-day IT support to staff across the business
  • Setting up laptops, PCs, printers, mobile phones, and user workstations
  • Assisting with Microsoft 365, user accounts, and Entra ID (Azure AD) administration
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic networking issues
  • Supporting onboarding, device setup, and IT asset management
  • Assisting with system backups, antivirus management, and general IT administration
  • Supporting business systems and assisting with programme/database issue escalation where required
What we’re looking for:
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
  • Interest in IT systems, infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity
  • IT qualification or some practical experience preferred
