Known for our traditional flavours and exceptional hospitality, we pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality dining and takeaway experience. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the continued excellence of our daily operations.

The Role

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and controlling the total operations of the establishment. This is a high-level management role that goes beyond basic supervision; you will be tasked with strategic planning, financial oversight, and maintaining the prestigious brand standards of Indian Lounge.

Key Responsibilities

· Operational Leadership: Plan and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure seamless service for both dine-in and takeaway customers.

· Staff Management: Lead the recruitment, induction, and training of new team members. You will be responsible for evaluating staff performance and managing rosters to optimize labour costs and service quality.

· Financial Oversight: Manage the restaurant’s budget, monitor financial transactions, and prepare regular reports on sales and expenses to ensure the business remains profitable.

· Quality & Presentation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of our authentic Indian menu items, ensuring every dish meets our strict quality standards and enhances customer satisfaction.

· Supply Chain Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate directly with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and beverages.

· Compliance & Safety: Ensure the establishment remains in full compliance with all health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing requirements.

· Customer Relations: Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a high level of customer loyalty and brand reputation.

Job Prerequisites

· Experience: A minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment is required.

· Skills: Exceptional communication and team management skills are essential.

· Knowledge: A deep understanding of Indian cuisine and hospitality trends is highly preferred.

· Attributes: You must be a problem-solver with a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.

Pay: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour
