About the role:

Due to an internal movement, we’re looking for a Business Development Broker to join our Corporate Team based in Beaumont Street, Auckland. Reporting directly to Business Development Manager – Corporate the key focus of this role will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Gallagher’s client base.

How you'll make an impact

Actively seek out and pursue new business opportunities
Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their unique needs.
Develop and present tailored insurance and risk management solutions that align with client goals.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and innovative strategies.
Represent Gallagher at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to enhance our market presence.

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in business development, sales, or insurance broking.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving targets.
Strong understanding of insurance products and risk management solutions.
A passion for delivering value and driving client success.
Must have a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5)
