About us:
Māor i for ‘understanding’, AROA is at the forefront of understanding how biology, structural form and human factors can unlock the body’s intrinsic power to heal.
AROA create innovative regenerative healing products that are improving the lives of millions of people around the world. We specialise in developing, manufacturing and exporting new and exciting medical devices, including soft tissue regeneration products. Our products are based on our patented extracellular matrix (ECM) platform technology, which in true kiwi style comes from pasture-raised NZ sheep.

About the internship:
Our unique internship opportunity offers students the opportunity to be immersed in product development within the medical device industry. The internship runs from November 2026 through to February 2027 and you’ll be working alongside a great team of people on a wide range of projects and challenges.
If you’re a 3rd or 4th year student currently studying or specialising in the following areas we want to hear from you:
- Biomedical science
- Biology
- Medicine
- Chemistry
- Materials Science Physiology
