  • Assist with menu preparation, seasonal dishes and recipe development where required.
  • Communicate effectively with Sous Chefs, Chefs and the wider F&B team to ensure smooth service.
  • Support and guide Commis Chefs and junior kitchen team members when required.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe and organised condition.
  • Follow hotel policies, health and safety requirements and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and professional kitchen environment.

  • Experience working in a high-volume hospitality, restaurant or hotel environment.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A professional approach to hygiene, food safety and kitchen standards.
  • Flexibility to work a roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
