Ajisen Ramen Takapuna is looking for an experienced Floor Supervisor to join our friendly team.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise daily front-of-house operations
• Lead and support the service team during busy periods
• Welcome customers and provide friendly, efficient service
• Take orders, serve food and process payments accurately
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve service issues professionally
• Train new team members and maintain service standards
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure smooth and timely service
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning and cash-handling procedures
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures are followed

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous restaurant or hospitality experience
• Have supervisory or team-leadership experience
• Be confident, responsible and well organised
• Have strong communication and customer-service skills
• Be able to work effectively in a busy restaurant
• Be available for evening, weekend and public-holiday shifts
• Hold valid New Zealand working rights

Japanese restaurant experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.
