About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Rita Angus Retirement Village in Kilbirnie, Wellington as a Barista/Cafe Assistant, in our brand new This is a Full Time role working Wednesday to Sunday 0900-1530 (32.5 hours all up)

This role will commence mid to late September.

In this role you will:

• Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for residents, relatives and visitors - Experience making coffee essential
• Be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café
• Work closely with, and support your colleagues
• Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere within the village

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

• Previous experience as a Barista in a busy cafe environment
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food service
• Strong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
