The Role:
Join the bar team at one of Auckland’s best kept secrets, The Glass Goose. We’re on the lookout for an outgoing and energetic individual to join our team in a part‑time, permanent role.
This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a fast‑paced, vibrant environment with real pathways into leadership roles across the Cook Brothers Hospitality Group.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the Glass Goose crew, you’ll help keep our venue pumping. Your responsibilities include:
- Greeting and engaging guests to create warm, memorable experiences
- Preparing and serving cocktails, beers, wines, coffees, mixed drinks and non‑alcoholic beverages
- Operating the bar during service, including setup, restocking, and pack‑down
- Following opening and closing procedures with accuracy
- Promoting products, upselling, and supporting venue sales targets
- Handling payments and POS transactions
- Maintaining bar cleanliness, washing glassware, tapping kegs and rotating stock
- Supporting the duty manager and wider team as required
