A little about us
The All Blacks Experience is a world-class, interactive attraction that celebrates New Zealand's deep connection to rugby and the remarkable achievements of our national teams.
Visitors are taken on a state-of-the-art 45-minute guided journey through the story of New Zealand rugby, exploring how the game has shaped our culture and identity while hearing from some of the legends who have worn the jersey. Through immersive technology and interactive displays, guests experience everything from the locker room environment to the energy and excitement of a packed stadium.
Located in central Auckland, the All Blacks Experience welcomes visitors of all ages from New Zealand and around the world.
About the role
As a Retail Assistant, you'll be one of the first people our visitors meet, helping create a welcoming and memorable experience from the moment they arrive.
Working within our retail space, you'll provide exceptional customer service, share your knowledge of our retail range, assist customers with their purchases and help ensure the store is presented to a high standard. You'll engage with visitors from a wide range of backgrounds and play an important role in bringing the All Blacks Experience to life.
This is a casual, on-call position, with shifts offered based on operational demand, peak visitor periods, weekends, public holidays and leave cover.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Loves interacting with people and creating outstanding customer experiences.
- Has experience in retail, tourism, hospitality or another customer-facing environment.
- Is confident using point-of-sale systems and can quickly learn new technology and processes.
- Has an interest in rugby and a willingness to build knowledge of the All Blacks and New Zealand rugby history.
- Has an interest in learning and embracing te reo Māori and tikanga Māori.
- Is flexible and available to work weekends, public holidays and peak visitor periods.
- Brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.
Why join us?
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class attraction that showcases one of New Zealand's most recognised sporting brands. You'll work alongside a passionate team in a fun, welcoming and dynamic environment while helping create unforgettable experiences for visitors from around the globe.
Before you apply
The All Blacks Experience is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for our team and visitors. As part of our recruitment process, successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including drug and alcohol testing.
You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand to be considered for this position.
