We have opportunities for Locum General Practitioner’s to join Mahitahi Hauora in providing support to over 40 practices across Tai Tokerau.

About the role

This role is an employed role with Mahitahi Hauora PHE which will enable us to meet the demands of our practices in requiring short term locum support to cover Doctors’ absenteeism in their practices. This role would be required to be flexible in working across both rural and urban based practices, and of which some travel may be required using Mahitahi Hauora vehicle. Locum placements may range for 1-2 days to several weeks depending upon the practice demand.

• Current Registration with Medical Council of New Zealand
• Legally eligible to work in New Zealand
• Passionate about providing and improving healthcare services for the community
• Minimum of 5 years working in general practice
