We are looking for caring, reliable Hospital Aides to join our team at Nurse Maude Care Home. In this role, you will support residents with their daily needs, helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.
You will be part of a supportive team, helping create a safe, clean, and positive environment for our residents.

Position Details:
Location: Nurse Maude Care Home 25 Mansfield Avenue, Merivale
Hours: Between 24 and 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available.
Casual Opportunities
Casual positions are also available for those seeking flexibility.
Requirements:
- Valid New Zealand working visa ( at least 12 months remaining).
- NZ Health & Wellbeing certificate Level 2 or higher
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Previous experience as a Hospital Aide or Health Care Assistant
Pay Rate:
- Level 2 qualification $26.17
- Level 3 qualification $28.50
- Level 4 qualification $30.72
Key Responsibilities:
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively as a team, communicate efficiently, and respect everyone you interact with, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Personal Care Assistance: Support residents with daily personal care needs, including bathing, showering, dressing, undressing, and grooming.
- Mobility Support: Assist residents with mobilisations, transfers, and toileting requirements, prioritising safety and independence.
- Nutrition and Hydration: Help residents with their food and fluid requirements, ensuring they are well-nourished and hydrated.
- Adherence to Protocols: Follow the organisation’s policies and protocols to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
