This is an opportunity for an experienced courier operator or someone looking to establish themselves in the courier industry and operate their own delivery business.

Key Responsibilities

The successful contractor will be responsible for:

Collection and delivery of freight within the allocated service area.
Providing professional and reliable service to customers.
Ensuring freight is handled, secured and delivered appropriately.
Completing deliveries within required service standards.
Scanning and updating freight accurately through the courier system.
Communicating promptly regarding delivery issues, delays or exceptions.
Following all company operational and Health & Safety requirements.

Excellent customer service skills.
Good knowledge of Central Otago roads and communities.
The ability to work independently and manage their own workload.
Good communication and organisational skills.
A professional and positive attitude.
A clean and tidy presentation.
A suitable delivery vehicle.
A current driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
The ability to safely handle freight and work in a physically demanding environment.

Previous courier or transport experience is preferred but not essential for the right applicant.
