Full job description
EBOS GROUP LIMITED is a massive marketing, wholesale, and logistics powerhouse that commands the Australasian distribution network by supplying essential medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and premium animal care products.
Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Auckland, NZ
Work Type: Full-time
Role Profile
We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to govern stock integrity, supply patterns, and storage logistics across our specialized distribution networks. This mid-level role offers a clear career step for warehouse administrators, distribution coordinators, or supply chain graduates ready to manage high-volume, highly regulated product movements.
Operating in a high-precision corporate logistics environment, you will bridge the gap between our international procurement pipelines and local fulfillment channels to maintain peak stock availability and minimize distribution waste.
Core Functions
Stock Integrity Optimization: Monitor, audit, and reconcile stock variances across enterprise databases, organizing targeted cycle counts to ensure absolute tracking accuracy.
Lifecycle & Expiry Management: Track product batch numbers, temperature-sensitive cold chain holding limits, and expiry dates to prevent critical stock write-offs.
Supply Chain Performance Documentation: Generate concise weekly stock velocity reports, vendor discrepancy logs, and shrinkage analysis briefs to optimize warehouse flow.
Logistical Variance Escalation: Isolate critical shipment shortfalls, system-wide data sync failures, or cold chain temperature breaches, escalating them with clear diagnostic summaries to the regional operations manager.
Vendor Delivery Alignment: Guide freight partners and receiving teams through complex product intake criteria, turning strict biosecurity and medical storage protocols into simple operational steps.
Skills & Prerequisites
Background: Proven history in warehouse operations, inventory planning, medical distribution, or high-volume fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) logistics.
Systems & Tools: High proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) databases, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcoding infrastructure, and spreadsheet modeling.
Analytical Rigor: Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills to systematically uncover stock data anomalies and pipeline bottlenecks.
Structured Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of conveying exact handling guidelines or regulatory compliance requirements clearly to cross-functional logistics teams.
Pay: From $5,600.00 per month
Benefits:
- Employee mentoring program
- Health insurance
- Housing allowance
- Life insurance
- Professional development assistance
- Referral program
- Relocation assistance
- Visa sponsorship
- Vision insurance
Work Location: In person
