Responsibilities include:
- Assist the development team in designing new surgical guides with guidance from senior engineers.
- Prototyping guide features via 3D printing and evaluation fit and function against defined acceptance criteria.
- Supporting usability testing of guides, and generating usability evaluation protocols.
- Contribute to design for manufacture activities, including liaising with vendors.
- Exposure to controlled and high precision manufacturing environments.
- Gathering design inputs and developing product specifications that can be implemented in a medical device manufacturing process.
- Document work to support Design History File (DHF) records.
What Makes You Stand Out

- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Your Background
This internship is designed with university students and early-career applicants in mind. It is a chance to put your knowledge into practice, learn how a global medical device company operates and contribute to work that makes a genuine difference to patient outcomes. You will be given a project of your own, with clear objectives and a manager to guide you through it.
We welcome applications from students who have recently completed or are entering the final year of their studies, from all universities and disciplines. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Mechatronics)
- Industrial Product Design
