Eligibility Requirements

New Zealand and Australian Graduates

• Hold or be eligible for General Scope of Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).

Applicants from Comparable Health Systems

• Hold General Registration.
• Have completed a minimum of two years of postgraduate clinical experience.
• Be from an MCNZ-recognised comparable health system.

Applicants from Ireland

• Have successfully completed a recognised internship programme (minimum 12 months).
• Hold General Registration.

Pre-Employment and Registration RequirementsAppointment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment screening, including Medical Council registration requirements, credentialing, occupational health assessment, reference checks, and, where applicable, immigration requirements. This position is a Core Children's Worker role under the Children's Act 2014 and requires successful completion of all mandatory safety checks prior to commencement.
