About the role:We are looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our team at Papakura Birthing Unit. Based in Papakura, this role is part of our Womens Health service.
Health Care Assistants are our RN/RMs right hand people. Assisting them with day-to-day tasks of caring for our patients, this is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to our vision of delivering quality patient care.
The successful applicant will get the opportunity to work with patients and families supporting the nurses/midwives. Our new team member must also be highly organised, able to prioritise, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy building relationships with our patients.

Essential:
- 2+ years Health Care Assistant experience in New Zealand
- Level 4 NZ Health Care Assistant certificate with 1+ years HCA experience in New Zealand
- or NZ Level 3 Health Care Assistant certificate with 2+ years HCA experience or equivalent (to be assessed) in New Zealand
- Good communication skills
