About the Role

As a Medical Physics Registrar, you will work within the Radiation Oncology team, using physics principles to design, verify, and optimise radiation treatments for patients with cancer. You'll contribute to the safe and effective delivery of therapy, applying your analytical and problem-solving skills in a clinical environment.

If required you'll study toward or complete your MSc (Medical Physics) through the University of Canterbury, while gaining supervised clinical experience leading toward professional certification.

• Christchurch Public Hospital
• Auckland City Hospital
• Dunedin Hospital
• Waikato Hospital

Dunedin and Waikato Hospitals are looking for a candidate who has already completed their Master's in Medical Physics

About You

You'll bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong academic foundation in physics. You'll also have excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

You will have:

• A completed or near-completed BSc majoring in Physics (or equivalent)
• OR commenced or completed an MSc in Medical Physics
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively
• A genuine desire to improve health outcomes for others
