About the role
We’re looking for Machine Operators to join our Mangere team across both Coil Shop and Sheetmetal areas. In this hands‑on role, you’ll operate specialised machinery to manufacture key components for our air conditioning systems. You’ll work from technical drawings, set up tooling, and ensure products are produced accurately and efficiently. This role suits someone with good mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a busy, team‑focused production environment.

We have multiple openings in different shifts:
  • 6:45am – 3:15pm (Day shift)
  • 3:15pm – 11:15pm (Afternoon shift)
  • 11:15pm – 6:45am (Night shift)
Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a range of machinery including CNC equipment, presses, and coil benders
  • Set up tooling and adjust machines to meet job specifications
  • Load and manage jobs from work queues and job sheets
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
  • Carry out quality checks and make adjustments as required
  • Monitor machine performance and complete routine checks
  • Move materials and finished goods safely within the production area
  • Work to production schedules and meet daily targets
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Exposure to sheet metal, coil work, or similar processes is advantageous
