The Opportunity:
We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to drive sales and margin growth across Foodstuffs North Island, Foodstuffs South Island, and The Warehouse Limited (TWL) for Masterpet New Zealand brands.
This role is responsible for leading strategic account plans, strengthening senior customer relationships, and delivering sustainable growth through effective collaboration with internal teams and the EBOS Consumer Brands field sales network.
What you will do:
- Deliver sales and gross margin targets across FSNI, FSSI, and TWL accounts
- Develop and execute joint business plans and clear account strategies
- Align account plans with broader business objectives and strategic priorities
- Manage trade spend and promotional programmes within budget and margin expectations
- Lead range reviews and drive distribution and in-store ranging
- Build strong, senior-level customer relationships to enhance loyalty and brand equity
- Collaborate closely with Category, Marketing, Supply, and Field Sales teams for execution excellence
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to key customer stakeholders
- Lead and develop an Account Executive through coaching, feedback, and best practice
- Champion strong account management capabilities, tools, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to a positive and engaging team culture aligned with Masterpet values
