Job Description
Habit Health is looking for an experienced Relationship Manager to join our Auckland-based team and play a key role in strengthening and expanding our private client portfolio across New Zealand.
About Habit Health
Habit Health is a leading provider of integrated healthcare and rehabilitation services across Aotearoa. Through our network of specialist services, we partner with organisations to deliver proactive, preventative and responsive health solutions that support people to recover well, stay safe at work, and live healthier lives.
Our approach is relationship led, clinically robust, and outcomes-focused, and we pride ourselves on being a trusted partner to employers, insurers, and communities nationwide.
About the Role
As our Relationship Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, proactive relationships with our private client base across services including:
- Occupational Health
- Rehabilitation Services
- Musculoskeletal (MSK) Services
- EAP and workplace wellbeing solutions
Your focus will be to retain and grow existing accounts, increase service utilisation, and identify new business opportunities that align with client needs and our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building meaningful partnerships, spotting growth opportunities, and delivering solutions that genuinely improve workplace health outcomes
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with an allocated portfolio of enterprise and national clients, positioning Habit Health as a trusted health and wellbeing partner.
- Grow existing client accounts by identifying opportunities to expand services, improve customer outcomes, and maximise portfolio value.
- Deliver a seamless onboarding experience, ensuring new clients are set up for long-term success and engagement.
- Partner with clients to understand their business objectives, workforce challenges, and wellbeing priorities, providing tailored solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Represent Habit Health professionally in customer meetings, business reviews, and stakeholder engagements, building credibility and trust at every level.
- Conduct regular monthly and quarterly business reviews, presenting insights, discussing health, safety and wellbeing initiatives, and identifying opportunities for continued partnership.
- Maintain disciplined CRM practices, ensuring accurate customer records, pipeline visibility, and proactive account management.
- Work confidently across multiple technology platforms, including CRM and patient management systems, while adapting to both modern and legacy systems.
- Collaborate with internal clinical and operational teams to deliver an integrated, high quality customer experience.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts to support continued growth across New Zealand.
About you
You are a seasoned Account Manager with a strong track record of growing client portfolios, retaining customers, and developing long term strategic partnerships. You combine commercial acumen with exceptional relationship management skills and are comfortable representing your organisation with professionalism and confidence.
While experience within healthcare, occupational health, or wellbeing services would be advantageous, it is not essential. More important is your ability to quickly understand complex customer environments, navigate ambiguity, and deliver practical, customer-focused solutions.
You are highly organised and disciplined in your approach to CRM management, recognising the importance of accurate data, pipeline visibility, and follow-through. Tech savvy by nature, you're comfortable working across CRM platforms such as HubSpot, patient management systems, and a variety of business technologies, including legacy systems where required.
You have experience managing enterprise or national customer portfolios and are confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation. You communicate clearly and professionally, think commercially, and balance customer advocacy with business outcomes.
Why join Habit Health:
- Professional development support, including an annual professional development budget and paid study days
- Volunteer leave to support a charity or because that matters to you
- Wellbeing initiatives, including annual eye exams, discounts on glasses, annual flu vaccination, and access to EAP services
- Corporate discounts across a wide range of services and products
- Great team culture with regular social events, weekly treats, and award schemes
If you’re ready to take ownership of meaningful client partnerships and contribute to better health outcomes across Aotearoa, we’d love to hear from you.
