Join the New Zealand Venue Co. team!
We're building strong leadership teams across our Auckland venues and are seeking enthusiastic hospitality professionals who are passionate about leading people and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
We're currently hiring:
- Assistant Venue Managers
- Duty Managers
- Supervisors
About the Roles
As part of the venue leadership team, you'll help oversee daily operations while creating an outstanding experience for both guests and team members.
Responsibilities may include:
- Leading and supporting teams throughout service
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of venue operations
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Driving a positive team culture and leading by example
- Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, gaming and health & safety requirements
- Managing operational procedures including cash handling and reporting
- Coaching, mentoring and developing team members
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training
- Assisting with events, promotions and venue initiatives
- Maintaining high standards across all areas of the business
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a hospitality leadership position
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- The ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- A positive, proactive and hands-on approach
- Confidence working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
- Knowledge of gaming, liquor licensing and venue compliance is advantageous
