A Healthcare Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day administration and operational activities of healthcare facilities, clinics, hospitals, or community health organizations. They help coordinate staff, schedules, resources, projects, and processes to ensure efficient healthcare service delivery and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operational activities across healthcare departments.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and workforce planning.
  • Monitor operational performance and prepare reports.
  • Support implementation of healthcare policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate meetings, projects, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain records, databases, and operational documentation.
  • Liaise with clinical, administrative, and external stakeholders.
  • Track budgets, expenses, and resource utilization.
  • Support compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Help resolve operational issues and improve workflow efficiency.
