Full job description

We are looking for a full time Delivery Driver, as an ideal employee, you will be expected to meet daily targets, you are expected to meet new clients and take orders and deliver goods as per their orders, you will also be introducing new products and explain about the quality andstock availability of particular product.

You are also expected to be physically fit, as the job requires someone to come out of the truck several times during the shift and loading, unloading good.

you are also expected to carry up to 20kg at a time

Other job duties could be but not limited to:

· Perform the loading and unloading activities.

· Transport finished goods to retail and distribution centres.

· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.

· Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

· Maneuvering vehicles into position for loading and unloading.

· Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/tollreceipts.

· Comply with driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, breakperiods etc) as well as with company policies and procedures.

· Collect and verify delivery instructions.

Must have at least one year of relevant work experience or qualification at level 4 or above
