Full job description

Wen and Yen is a family owned business making delicious baked goods fresh daily. We are most well known for our big allergen friendly range (focus on no gluten and vegan) with our most popular products being our donuts and pies. We're looking for a part time front of house staff to join our team :)

Hours available:

We would like to have someone work every Sunday 8am - 2:30pm

There may be more shifts in the week depending on whether other staff are away/sick and if we have orders or catering events/markets/school holidays.

Workload includes:

- Serving customers

- Handling payments (cash and eftpos) and working the POS system (Posboss)

- Restocking front of house cabinets with food.

- Handling and packing food for customers.

- General cleaning of the front of house area.

- Helping the kitchen with dishes and cleaning up.

Skills required:

- Knowledge of allergy friendly products (no added gluten and vegan) and prevention of cross contamination - need to be able to explain to customers what they mean.

- Barista experience would be great but not required.

- Good team player but can also work well independently.

- Friendly and reliable person with a great attitude
