Full job description
St Pierre's Sushi & Bento Bowl — New Zealand's largest 100% Kiwi-owned sushi chain — is currently looking for Weekend Part-time Staff for our Manawa Bay branch!
Full flexibility for weekend shifts is required.
Requirements:
- Valid NZ work rights.
- Full flexibility for weekend shifts.
- Physically fit and comfortable with demanding tasks (e.g., lifting at around 15–20 kg).
- Ability to commit to a long-term position (6+ months).
- Bright, energetic, and friendly attitude toward customers and team members.
- Conversational English skills (Intermediate level or above) for customer service.
- No prior experience required, but experience in food/customer service is a big plus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing friendly customer service in English.
- Food preparation, including cooking rice, cutting vegetables, and preparing our main menu items (e.g., Rolled Sushi, Chicken on Rice, Donburi bowls).
- Maintaining kitchen and store cleanliness.
