About the Role

• Serving Customers
• Greet every guest with a smile and friendly attitude—be a daymaker!
• Sell tickets, snacks, and drinks quickly and accurately.
• Make sure guests get the right ticket and are charged correctly.
• Check ID for age-restricted films and special pricing (e.g. student or community rates).
• Handle cash and EFTPOS confidently, keeping your till balanced.
• Record voucher use and any credits or wastage.
• Keep your area clean and stocked, and jump in to help teammates when needed.
• Keeping Everyone Safe
• Know your evacuation role and be ready to act in an emergency.
• Do regular safety checks (like exits and lighting) and report any issues.
• Help keep the cinema clean, safe, and welcoming—including toilets and common areas.
• Spot hazards and take action to keep everyone safe.
• On the Floor
• Welcome guests and help with any questions.
• Keep queues tidy and flowing smoothly.
• Check tickets and guide guests to their seats when needed.
• Clean cinemas quickly between sessions.
• Tidy the foyer and outside areas, and deal with spills or messes promptly.
• Extra Tasks
• Assist with private functions and special events.
• Help with food prep and rolling ice creams.
• Receive and check deliveries; store items appropriately.
• Put up posters and hand out promotional materials for special events or movies.
