- Ember Support Worker Pay Rates: $25.00 - $30.00ph (depending on qualification held and its equivalence to the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing L4, with stepped increases based on tenure)

The Role | Nga Mahi
As a Peer Support Worker, you’ll build trusting, authentic relationships that help people feel grounded and understood. You’ll walk alongside individuals to explore what matters to them, support them to identify their own goals, and connect them with community resources and networks.
You will have | Nga Pukenga
- Have your own lived experience with Mental Health and Recovery
- Have/are working towards a National Certificate in Health and Wellbeing L4 or equivalent.
- Have experience working with Mental Health and/or Addictions
- Have a passion for walking along side those in need, supporting on-going goals on the pathway to recovery.
- Have the ability to work in a team environment and from a bicultural perspective.
- Be professional and have good boundaries and ethics.
- Have experience working in the area of mental health and/or addictions (alcohol and other drugs)
- Full NZ Driver's License
- Valid/Current work visa, residency, or citizenship
