Social Media & Marketing Assistant – Wine Industry

United Cellars is a premium wine retailer operating in Australia and New Zealand. We’re on the lookout for a creative, organised, and digital-savvy Social Media & Marketing Assistant intern to join our fast-paced, collaborative team.

What You’ll Be Doing

You'll support the marketing, digital, and events teams, with a focus on building brand awareness, customer engagement, and social reach across all platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Write, edit, develop content for social media, newsletters, and websites
• Manage and schedule content across all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
• Assist with digital campaign planning and execution
• Learn Support Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, basic optimisation, and reporting
• Learn how to Support the team with market and brand research
• Learn how to Assist with reporting and tracking campaign performance
• Help with marketing and team admin tasks as needed

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a strong communicator who loves social media and understands the importance of brand voice and tone. You're organised, flexible, and excited to create content that adds real value.

You ideally have:

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, PR, or similar
• Or equivalent hands-on experience managing premium brand or personal social channels
• Great writing, grammar, and content creation skills
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Canva, email platforms, and scheduling tools
• A basic understanding of social analytics and what makes content perform
• Video editing or photography skills are a plus
• An interest in wine or the wine industry (preferred, not required)
