Description

Bring the PlaceMakers Brand to Life
We’re after a creative, proactive Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to join the PlaceMakers marketing team. You’ll produce engaging video and photo content, manage national social channels, capture on site and event footage, and support branches with strong local content. This role suits someone fast paced, adaptable, and able to bring our “Know how. Can do.” brand to life.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Film, edit and produce high-quality social-first video content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok
  • Capture and edit photography content to support marketing campaigns and grow our image library
  • Produce additional video and multimedia content to support the Brand & Loyalty team and wider marketing team
  • Plan, shoot and edit content both independently and collaboratively with stakeholders across the business
  • Manage camera, audio, lighting and production equipment
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice and social media strategy
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates and emerging content formats
  • Manage and schedule content across all national social media channels using scheduling tools
  • Own and maintain the social media content calendar
  • Lead day-to-day community management, including monitoring comments, messages and engagement across platforms
Branch Engagement & Support
  • Act as the national content lead for PlaceMakers branches, helping drive consistent and engaging local social media activity across the country
  • Support branches with social media guidance, best practice, content planning and campaign execution
  • Manage branch content queries and act as the key point of contact for branches managing local social media channels
  • Develop and contribute content ideas, recommendations and social suggestions for monthly branch marketing packs
  • Encourage branch participation and help branches identify local storytelling and content opportunities
  • Provide coaching and practical support to help branches improve content quality, engagement and brand consistency
  • Collaborate with branches to capture and amplify local success stories, events and customer relationships
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Track, analyse and report on social media performance and engagement metrics
  • Use insights and analytics to optimise content performance and inform future content planning
  • Support engagement growth, branch participation and brand consistency across channels
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with internal teams, branches, suppliers and customers to source and develop content opportunities
  • Build strong relationships across the business and confidently engage with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Proactively identify new content ideas and opportunities that support business and marketing objectives
About You
  • Proven experience in content creation, videography and social media management
  • A strong portfolio showcasing video, photography and social media content
  • Advanced editing skills and experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom, Canva, Meta Business Suite
  • Experience using social media scheduling and reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, content strategy and platform best practices
  • Confidence managing community engagement and online audiences
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A current full driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when event coverage is required
