We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of People Coordinator reporting based in our Auckland, NZ office.
The Opportunity:
The People Operations Coordinator is a key member of the IRONMAN global People team, a diverse and dedicated group of HR professionals across the globe. We are a hardworking and committed team, passionate about creating a positive employee experience and fostering a culture of collaboration, support, and real impact. Despite working across different time zones, we stay closely connected—always ready to tackle challenges, celebrate wins, and support one another.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring a smooth and engaging employee experience by supporting the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, development, performance management, compensation, and offboarding. The coordinator will work closely with various teams to streamline processes, manage administrative tasks, and help implement strategies that align with our culture and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- General administration of all people-related processes & procedures
- Acting as the first point of contact for employees on any people-related queries
- Keeping all employee records up to date and accurate, and playing a key role in the maintenance and implementation of the new People Information System (HRIS) globally
- Support payroll administration in the Region and play a role in implementing a new global payroll system
- Updating company policies and ensuring legal compliance
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
- Assisting with people reporting, data management, and system updates
- Leading and supporting diverse people projects across the Region & globally.

Qualifications & Experience:
- 2 years of relevant professional experience in HR/ People administration, ideally in a global business
- Must be people-focused with excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills, as well as the ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, a hands-on mentality, able to multitask, and demonstrate proper time management
- Experience with HR software systems and excellent skills in MS Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for getting things done
- Ability to obtain First Aid/ CPR certification
