As the Procurement Analyst, you will provide data-led insight, reporting and contract management support across the Procurement and Commercial function. You will collect, analyse and interpret procurement, contract, finance and performance information to support informed decision-making across the full procurement lifecycle.
This role also manages an allocated portfolio of contracts and panel arrangements, helping ensure obligations are met, performance is monitored, and value is maximised for Police.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Develop dashboards, reporting and analytical tools.
- Support procurement planning, sourcing and contract activities.
- Manage supplier relationships and contract performance.
- Deliver governance reporting and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI and reporting capability, including dashboard development and data visualisation.
- Experience working with procurement, contract or information management systems and data sources.
- Sound understanding of procurement and contract management principles, ideally within a public sector environment.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders to support contract performance and continuous improvement.
