The Role
First impressions are everything and at QT Auckland, our Guest Service Agents set the tone. This is a part-time role with the ability to grow into full-time hours, ideal for someone who thrives on human connection, loves the energy of a premium hotel environment and genuinely enjoys making people's day. Seven day availability is preferred, as our guests don't take days off and neither does the QT experience. If you're the kind of person who remembers the little things, anticipates needs before they're voiced and brings warmth to every interaction, you'll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth at every arrival and departure, setting the tone for an unmistakably QT experience.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately, handling all transactions and accounts in line with hotel procedures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations and Maintenance to ensure rooms are always guest-ready and special requests are actioned seamlessly.
• Be the go-to for guests, from local recommendations and event information to room rates, packages and reservations. Know it all and share it with confidence.
• Communicate guest feedback, special requests and complaints promptly to the relevant departments and follow through until resolved.
• Complete all opening and closing duties, maintain a clean and safe front desk environment, and uphold all cashiering and WH&S policies.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a hotel front office or customer-facing hospitality role is preferred.
• A naturally warm, polished and professional manner that puts guests at ease from the first hello.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
• Confidence with hotel systems and reservations platforms (experience with Opera or similar an advantage).
• Seven day availability, with flexibility across day, evening and weekend shifts.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering experiences guests will remember.
