The Opportunity: Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a full-time permanent motivated, organized, and guest-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest dining experience and smooth team coordination and supporting operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, scheduling, and quality control. Your natural warmth and professionalism will be key in creating heartfelt guest connections and unforgettable stays.

What You Will Bring:

A background in fine dining and wine service is essential

Previous supervisory Food and Beverage experience in boutique lodges or 5-star properties, specifically managing VIP guest requirements

Excellent communication and a team-oriented mindset
*

A genuine passion for guest experience, with attention to detail
*

Confident use of Hospitality Management systems
*

Immaculate personal presentation
*

Strong and effective communication skills, ability to establish relationships

We offer staff lunches and dinners and access to our staff Perks Programme with a wide range of discounts and deals with our preferred suppliers and partners. We also have accommodation options or $10 daily travel allowance available.

This is a full-time salaried position for 45 hours over 5 days per week, offering $70,000 to $72,000 per annum (depending on experience). For any work that is required on the 6th or 7th day per week, time in lieu (at the equivalent hourly rate) will be accruable.
