Pay Range - $26-$30

Position description

Position purpose

• Run the day to day operations of the restaurant, including overseeing personnel, ensuring that the facilities are properly maintained. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will also be required to ensure customer satisfaction and oversee the upkeep of administrative and financial record and also help restaurant manager to run day to day operation
• Minimum working hours is 30 hours to the maximum of UPTO 45 hours

Main tasks

• Core objectives include:
• Organize and coordinate operations
• Recruit staff
• Maintain high levels of customer service
• Develop and direct staff
• Manage everyday operations
• Schedule Rostering needs of the business
• Schedule purchasing and inventory control
• Supervise staff
• Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards
• Review and prepare reports for Senior Management

Person Specification

Experience

• Relevant practical experience in a Supervisory or assistant manager position with the ability to display required competencies

• Working knowledge of operations
