S.S. FAMILY INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is currently looking for 1 Restaurant Manager for a full-time permanent position for our Restaurant. The hourly wage rates range from $30.00 to $40.00. The company is based in the Northland region

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an restaurant, ensuring efficient service, high-quality food standards, and excellent customer experience.

Core Duties:
Planning, organising, and controlling the overall operations of the restaurant, including
dining, takeaway, and delivery services.
Managing staff recruitment, training, rostering, and performance to ensure smooth
kitchen and front-of-house operations.
Supervising the preparation and service of Indian cuisine to maintain authenticity, quality,
and consistency.
Ensuring compliance with New Zealand food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
Monitoring customer service standards and resolving customer complaints in a
professional manner.
Managing stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels
for food, beverages, and kitchen materials.
Liaising with chefs and kitchen staff to plan menus, pricing, and special promotions based
on seasonal demand.
Managing financial operations including budgeting, cost control, daily cash handling,
and sales reporting.
Ensuring the restaurant meets all licensing, council, and regulatory requirements.

Overseeing cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of dining and kitchen areas.
Implementing marketing strategies, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives to
increase business revenue.
Maintaining supplier relationships and negotiating with vendors for cost-effective
procurement.
Ensuring efficient workflow and coordination between kitchen and service staff during
busy service periods.

Qualification or Experience:
Level 5 Diploma or higher or 2 years of relevant experience
