Full job description

We are looking for an experienced customer focused cafe supervisor / manager to lead our team in Albany, North shore Auckland

The position is full-time, with no nights. We are offering you an opportunity to be part of a team and culture, serving great coffee and food.

As Supervisor / Cafe Manager, your duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Working a 5 day week on a 7 day roster (Weekend work is required)

- Developing and managing a team of passionate baristas and floor staff

- Opening and closing of the café

- Stock control and waste management

- Role model the organisational values

- Develop and/or implement business improvement initiatives / innovation

To join our team in this role you must meet the following criteria:

- 2 years of management experience in a fast paced hospitality environment

- Passion for delivering high quality customer service

- Proven success in improving café performance

- Proven success in improving team capability

- Lead by example: strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Able to learn and adapt quickly to new ways of working

- Excellent communication and team building skills

- Understanding of food safety requirements

- Experience in coffee making is essential

- NZ Resident
