We’re looking for a Café Supervisor who’s passionate about great service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to lead a team with confidence and care.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Café Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day operations—supporting the Business Manager and leading the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth service, high standards, and happy guests.

Your role will include:

• Leading the team in daily café operations and customer service.
• Maintaining top hygiene and food safety standards.
• Supporting food prep, cooking, and menu development.
• Managing stock ordering, rotation, and monthly stocktake.
• Handling POS systems, cash reconciliation, and till setup.
• Assisting with rostering, admin tasks, and SOP updates.
• Driving sustainability initiatives and health & safety practices.
• Collaborating across Waitomo attractions and supporting other sites when needed.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in busy hospitality environments.
• Strong food handling and barista skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership qualities.
• High attention to detail and a calm approach under pressure.
• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Confidence using POS systems and general IT tools.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
