About the Role

We are a busy, well-established American-style casual dining restaurant based in Takapuna, on Auckland's North Shore. We are looking for an enthusiastic Crew Member to join our front-of-house team and help deliver a great customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers, take orders and process payments accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly, timely manner
• Provide clear, helpful information to customers on menu items and answer questions
• Handle customer queries, feedback and complaints professionally, escalating where required
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area, counters and equipment
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service
• Assist with stock rotation, restocking and basic cash handling/reconciliation as required

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet ONE of the following:

• A minimum of 2 years' relevant customer service experience (hospitality, retail, or similar); OR
• A relevant qualification at Level 5 or above in Hospitality, Business, Commerce, or similar

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual and able to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A team player who can also work well unsupervised

Pay and Conditions

• Pay rate: $24.00 - $24.50 per hour
• Minimum guaranteed hours: 30 hours per week
• Location of work: Takapuna, Auckland (North Shore)

Pay: $24.00 – $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week

Work Location: In person
