Full job description

15-20 hour a week

Need to work weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility 1: Food Preparation and Quality

· Assist in preparing fresh sushi and hot food items to high standard

· Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout the day

· Follow food prep guidelines and address any quality issues immediately

· Demonstrate speed and efficiency in preparing sushi and hot food while maintaining quality standards

Responsibility 2: Customer Service

· Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner

· Assist with customer inquiries, special requests, and feedback

· Contribute to a clean, tidy, and welcoming shop environment

Responsibility 3: Daily Operations Support

· Help set up and pack down the shop each day

· Replenish stock and ingredients during the shift

· Follow procedures for cash handling and basic POS transactions

Responsibility 4: Team Collaboration

· Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily goals

· Uphold company values through positive communication and support

· Attend briefings and training sessions as required

Responsibility 5: Food Health and Safety

· Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times

· Keep workstations clean and organised

· Support with daily and weekly cleaning checklists

Responsibility 6: Other Duties

  • Perform any other reasonable tasks requested by the shop manager or business owner that support the effective operation of the business

Once accepted, people need to go Rolleston branch for training 1-2 weeks( with pay.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $23.95 per hour
