G GILL LIMITED is seeking reliable and motivated Kitchen Hands to join our team in the Waikato region. The successful candidates will support daily kitchen operations, maintain high hygiene standards, and assist in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation according to customer requirements while maintaining consistency and quality standards.
• Receive customer orders and provide prompt and courteous service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety across all kitchen and preparation areas in accordance with company policies.
• Support the delivery of excellent customer service by contributing to a positive dining and takeaway customer experience.
• Check stock levels of cleaning materials and arrange replenishment when necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure smooth and productive kitchen operations during peak service periods.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and storing stock and ingredients appropriately.
• Wash, sanitize, and organize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Carry out any other duties relevant to the position as directed by management.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and you will be paid between $24.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Requirements for the role:

• Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work weekends and varying shift schedules to meet operational requirements.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Good organisational and task coordination abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.

Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
