Due to surge in parcel volume, we are looking for a Courier Driver to work full-time in Mackenzie and Waitaki Area, Delivering to Rural stations such as Ohau station, omarama station, Tara hills station, Brewen station and Dalrachney Station and others in between.

The ideal candidates must have good customer service skills be presentable and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

The Courier Driver is expected to work a minimum of 30 hours a week with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and weekend shifts (Saturday). Pay rate will be between $27-$32

Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Sorting and sequencing items for delivery
• Delivering mail, parcels, documents and other items to customers' premises and mailboxes
• Receiving orders for deliveries from customers
• Collecting signatures and charges for cash-on-delivery orders
• Issuing and collecting receipts for pick-up and delivery items
• Keeping records of items received and delivered
• Maintaining walk books, directories, mail counts, equipment maintenance logs and other delivery records
• Loading and unloading mail conveyances and internal mail handling equipment
• Assisting with receipting inward mail, checking wrongly addressed, missorted, undelivered and redirected mail, and processing freepost and underpaid mail
• Delivering mail on bike on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• A minimum of a Class 1 drivers license or the ability to obtain one.
• Clean Criminal Record
• Be physically healthy and fit
• Have good communication and customer service skills
• Have a good time management sense and skill
