We are now seeking permanent full time and part time support workers to join our Homecare team in Nelson.
Te Mahi/About the Position
As a Support Worker in Nelson you will be working within the community supporting a variety of individuals to support them to live happy and meaningful lives. A day in this role will see you:
- Following a care plan, to provide support with personal care and household duties,
- Completing such tasks as assistance with showering, dressing, mobility, medication support, hosiery application; housework and meal preparation supports,
- Working autonomously with a wide range of clients in the community,
- Using your personal vehicle to drive between scheduled visits,
- Representing Nurse Maude in your professional presentation and approach to each client and their Whanau,
Hours of work:
- We are seeking employees to work approximately 20 - 40 hours per week.
- Operating Monday through Sunday, the successful permanent applicants will be offered guaranteed hours and agreed work times, inclusive of morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Having availability to work at least alternate weekends is preferred
