We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team at Cambridge Resthaven. Our kitchen at Resthaven on Vogel provides nutritious, high-quality meals for 135 residents across two sites, supporting a full range of aged-care services, including a dedicated dementia unit.
About the Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will help ensure our residents and café customers receive excellent food and service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment.

- Helping with service setup, clearing, and cleaning at the end of shifts
- Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous café, hospitality, or food service experience
- Have basic cooking skills or kitchen experience (full training provided)
- Be friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be reliable, flexible, and willing to help where needed
- Take pride in delivering great service and working as part of a team
- Enjoy working in an environment where you can positively impact the lives of others
