Warehouse Storeperson / Picker Packer – Toll Group (New Zealand)

Toll Group is a global logistics and supply chain company providing freight, warehousing, and transport services across multiple industries. In New Zealand, Toll operates large distribution centres supporting fast-moving inventory and delivery networks across the country.

We are seeking reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Storepersons / Picker Packers to join our logistics operations team. This role is essential in ensuring goods are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched on time to meet customer and delivery requirements.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Storeperson / Picker Packer, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment handling inbound and outbound goods. You will be responsible for accurate order fulfilment, safe handling of products, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick items from warehouse locations using pick lists or handheld scanners
• Pack, label, and prepare goods for dispatch and delivery
• Load and unload trucks and shipping containers safely
• Check orders for accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if licensed)
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards

Work Environment

• Fast-paced distribution centre or warehouse setting
• Physically active role involving lifting (typically 15–25kg)
• Shift-based work (morning, afternoon, or night shifts)
• Team-oriented environment with productivity targets

Skills & Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good physical fitness and stamina
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer or scanner system skills
• Reliable and punctual with good teamwork skills
• Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential
• No formal qualification required; full training provided
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial
