Kitchen Hand (Weekend Position)
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume café.
Hours:
- Saturdays & Sundays
- 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
About the Role
This is a busy, hands-on position suited to someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys working as part of a team. You'll play a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during our busiest trading periods.
Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation as required
- Restocking supplies and keeping workstations tidy
- Taking out rubbish and recycling
- Following all food safety and hygiene standards
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a kitchen hand in a busy café is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work every weekend.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for the duration of the shift.
