The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced stores professional with a passion for logistics, procurement, and customer service? Join our Rentals NZ team in Queenstown as a Stores person on a full time, permanent basis and play a key role in ensuring our stores are stocked, efficient, and ready to deliver outstanding service. You will carry out a range of logistical, inventory, purchasing, stock reconciliation, and administrative tasks to help ensure the Stores department is appropriately stocked and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in vehicle parts, stores, inventory, or administrative roles.
• Strong vehicle parts knowledge and an interest in improving processes.
• Confidence using Microsoft applications and working with numbers.
• Operate purchasing systems and processes in line with industry best practice.
• Maintain accurate inventory control and generate timely purchase orders.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, including urgent orders and returns.
• Execute receiving and dispatching of stock, ensuring all items are correctly tracked.
• Negotiate with suppliers and ensure products meet business and fleet requirements.
• Support branch staff and contribute to skills development.
• Uphold company policies, health & safety, and thl brand standards.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in a store’s environment.
• Strong procurement, purchasing, and parts management background.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Stock planning and vehicle knowledge.
• Process improvement mindset and ability to think outside the box.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
• Self-driven, methodical, and focused on service delivery.
• Great interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for thl brands.
